About Stampede Racing Royale

In Stampede: Racing Royale, 60 players go bumper-to-bumper on outrageous circuits filled with power-ups. Avoid elimination and fight your way to the front of the herd in the scramble to be crowned champion!
I contributed to the core gameplay by implementing powerups like the mega bomb, forcefield, nitro, and machine gun. I also refactored systems such as the powerup director to support a powerup turret, introduced kart effects like intangibility, and worked with other teams to integrate analytics, SFX, VFX, and new game modes.
Main Contributions
- Implemented various power-ups, including Mega Bomb, Forcefield, Nitro, and Machine Gun.
- Improved existing Shield, Limpet Mine, Sticky Bomb and Heli-bomb powerups.
- Refactored the power-up system to improve system flexibility and efficiency.
- Developed the Power-up Turret and added new power-up gadgets.
Additional Contributions
Overall, Stampede Racing Royale was an incredible project to be part of. I’m proud of how my work contributed to the fun and chaos of the game, and I’m grateful for the chance to grow as a developer in such a collaborative environment.
