Absorbots is the game I developed with a team for the second game jam of my second year of University. It is a third person shooter with enemy robots that merge together when on low health! They can even form into huge boss robots. The general game loop consists primarily of wave based rounds with a boss fight to be guaranteed every five waves. There are also several guns and powerups available to the player!
I was responsible for leading the team and to ensure that each person is aware and sticking to their deadlines. I generally took a laissez-faire management style, however occasionally took on a more control when things got out of hand. Apart from this, development was smooth and we managed to develop the game within five days.
